Robert I. Rotberg is the founding director of the Program on Intrastate Conflict, Harvard Kennedy School; president emeritus of the World Peace Foundation; fellow of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences; sometime Fulbright Professor at both the Paterson School of International Affairs (Carleton University) and the Balsillie School of International Affairs (University of Waterloo); and senior fellow of the Centre for International Governance Innovation. His most recent book is Africa Emerges: Consummate Challenges, Abundant Opportunities (Polity 2013). In 2014-2015 he was fellow of the Woodrow Wilson International Center.
