Renouf will stop the distribution of international documents in print on April 30, 2024
Established in 1888, Renouf evolved into North America's leading distributor of governmental and international reports and documents. We have all experienced the rapid transition from print to online reports over the past several years and now the library community and the Inter Governmental Organizations are mostly phasing out the production and use of print publications.
The Company has done a review of its activities and has decided that it is no longer viable to handle single copy orders of print publications. We are in the process of contacting our standing order clients and letting them know that we will no longer be offering serial services and providing them with options of where they can re-establish their orders.
Renouf would like to apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. We would also like to thank all of our print customers for their patronage over the years.
Renouf will continue to provide support to its online subscription customers
Renouf has run a successful 2024 online subscription renewal season and it wants to assure its clients that the staff in the serials department will be available to assist you with any problems or questions you have with the product you purchased. Our commitment to our customers does not end with the initial sale for we believe it is our responsibility to make sure you are fully satisfied, right up until the expiry date of the subscription.
Contact us if you are interested in purchasing a new online subscription
We would also welcome any enquiries regarding the purchase of new subscriptions from the organization’s the Company represents. The United Nations, World Trade Organization and the World Tourism Organization will continue to sell their online products for an annual fee. They offer flexible pricing options and we are quite certain that we will be able to come up with a price that fits in with your budget.

Online Subscription changes coming in 2024
Renouf has been servicing our partner's online products since their inception and is working with libraries and consortia throughout North America. The Company is in the process of finishing its 2024 subscription renewals but, as has happened with the international print publications, there are changes upcoming to the online subscription packages.
OECD iLibrary will be going Open Access June 30, 2024
The OECD announced that the Member countries decided to move to an open access model on June 30, 2024. They have also stated that the existing iLibrary platform will remain active until the end of 2024. The new platform, www.oecd.org, is currently under development and the OECD has stated that the transition to the new platform will be seamless. All links from OECD iLibrary (URLs and DOIs) will be automatically redirected to the appropriate pages on oecd.org. Users and libraries should not need to make any catalog changes.
All OECD content will be migrated to oecd.org. However, the IEA databases (IEA Statistics) will not be migrated to oecd.org. Subscribers to IEA Statistics who wish to retain archives should download them before the OECD iLibrary is decommissioned at the end of 2024.
World Bank e-Library will be going Open Access June 30, 2024
The World Bank announced that they will be discontinuing the World Bank e-Library on June 30, 2024. The Organization has decided to focus its efforts to make their Open Access solutions better for all users. Unlike the OECD’s change, the subscribers will lose all access to the e-Library platform on June 30th. The registered IP addresses will be deactivated and the platform will be shutdown.
All World Bank books, reports, working papers, and other research since the 1990s are freely available at the
World Bank Documents and Reports platform. Those titles released after 2000 are freely available in the
World Open Knowledge Repository (OKR) platform. The difference between these platforms and the e-Library is that they do not contain any book chapters, EPUB files, or HTML full-text. As such, when e-Library platform shuts down, the institution will lose access to these formats.
The World Bank indicators are available on a third platform called the
World Bank Open Data.
